Some things said about the IMPROV CLASSES here at The Comedy Spot:
“If there’s a more talented or eclectic teacher of performing arts in AZ, I’ve never met him. Sean Dillingham does it all, acting, stand-up, and improv. Sean is a man on a mission. His classes have no downside. He’ll improve every facet of your performance. I swear Sean could teach a brick to walk. Yes, he’s that good. Drop in for one class, just one. You’ll thank me.”
– Billy O. (Stand-up comedian)
“Sean is an amazing instructor! He is by far the funniest Improv comedian I’ve ever seen and a very talented actor. It’s obvious that he genuinely loves teaching Improv and somehow, lucky for us, he is able to see our potential even if we don’t see it in ourselves!”
– Jenny L.(Actress)
“As far as I’m concerned there’s not a better Improv instructor than Sean Dillingham. Since taking the classes I have become a better comedian, and actor. I use the skills I’ve learned at every single audition and performance I’m in. I would recommend the class to anyone in performing arts – it’s a must! I have learned how not to just be a character, but to become the character. I am truly living in the moment which is refreshing.”
– Laura W. (Actress/Improv/Stand-up)
“Sean really understands improv and we learn in a fun and supportive environment. This improv class isn’t just for actors and stand-up comedians. Everyone can expand their confidence and improve their communication skills by coming to this class and learning improv skills from Sean!”
– Judy M. (Actress)
“I’ve wanted to send a little note/compliment to you for some time, but haven’t until now because it’s not easy to find the words to express how much I appreciate you. The encouragement, guidance and kindness that you show to all, no matter ones skill level is commendable. Thank you for making me feel welcome and giving me the confidence to believe that I have the potential to grow and get better. You’re the best!”
– Elizabeth G. (Improv)
“Sean has been an outstanding coach / instructor / director and has helped me grow tremendously!Sean somehow draws the funny out of people and everyone laughs and has an awesome time!”
– John F. (Improv)
“Sean has a keen eye and ear for improv. He will tell you exactly what your weaknesses are on stage in order to improve your overall performance and audience engagement in a constructive manner. This instruction has improved not only my Improv and Acting, but also in situations where I am talking in front of a group of people. The structure of the class is inclusive, welcoming, and supportive.”
